Position Summary

AccuformNMC, a division of the Justrite Safety Group, is seeking a Manufacturing Support Associate. We are a recognized leader in the production of safety identification solutions, including signage, labels, and custom safety products. Shift Details:

-- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:45 PM

-- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:15 PM

Compensation: $16.50 per hour with an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate various printing equipment, including flatbed and roll printers.
  • Utilize liquid lamination machines for coating application on products.
  • Manage roll-to-roll lamination processes.
  • Use cutting machinery to produce finished items such as signs, tags, and labels.
  • Conduct finishing operations using tools like drill presses and lasers.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on all equipment.
  • Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and palletization.
  • Follow work orders to understand specifications and prioritize tasks.
  • Maintain inventory levels of raw materials.
  • Ensure high standards of quality and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Report any equipment issues to the supervisor.
  • Keep the work area organized and clean.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts and apply LEAN and 5S methodologies.
  • Cross-train in various production and shipping roles.
  • Be available for occasional overtime as needed.
  • Participate in inventory management and cycle counting.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to sit and perform manual tasks.
  • Capable of using hands for handling tools and materials.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Occasional requirements to stand, walk, and reach.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision.
  • Must wear safety glasses and other personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • High school diploma or relevant experience preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years in machine operation.
  • 2 years of mechanical aptitude.
  • 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
