Shift Information:
-- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:45 PM
-- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:15 PM
Compensation: $16.50 per hour + $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute print jobs on various printing machines, including flatbed and roll printers.
- Operate liquid lamination machines for coating application on products.
- Utilize roll-to-roll lamination equipment effectively.
- Manage cutting equipment to transform sheets into final products such as signs and labels.
- Conduct finishing operations, including the use of drill-presses, lasers, and other specialized equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on all production machinery.
- Package and prepare items for shipment accurately.
- Interpret work orders to understand specifications and priorities.
- Monitor and maintain raw material inventory levels.
- Ensure high-quality standards are met throughout all processes.
- Report any equipment issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Engage in continuous improvement practices, applying LEAN and 5S methodologies.
- Cross-train in various production and shipping roles as needed.
- Be available for occasional overtime work.
- Participate in inventory and cycle counting activities.
Qualifications:
- Ability to sit, stand, and move as required.
- Manual dexterity to handle tools and controls.
- Effective communication skills.
- Physical capability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
- Vision acuity for various tasks.
- Compliance with safety regulations, including wearing necessary personal protective equipment.
- High School diploma or relevant experience preferred.
