Human Resources Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Human Resources Specialist (Talent Acquisition) plays a pivotal role in supporting the Global Human Resources Manager - Talent Acquisition in all aspects of talent acquisition for Gowan Group. This position is responsible for providing global talent acquisition support that fosters functional excellence and leadership growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain the ATS/IT system, providing technical support and training to Regional HR Managers.
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies, conducting passive talent searches, and utilizing various channels to attract top talent.
- Post job openings on specialty websites, ensuring all relevant sourcing channels are leveraged to attract the best candidates.
- Schedule interviews for the TA manager, hiring managers, and candidates, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
- Process and record all TA-related invoices, including headhunter fees, sourcing channel costs, and HRIS expenses.
- Oversee the onboarding process, including obtaining necessary paperwork, educating new employees on company policies, and entering employees into the payroll system.
- Facilitate background checks for top candidates, ensuring a thorough and compliant process.
- Assist in organizing careers fairs at relevant colleges and universities, determining Gowan Group's attendance schedule.
- Provide analytics and reporting from E1, ATS, and other relevant systems, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Manage candidate relationships in the ATS, ensuring an optimal candidate experience.
- Create job requisitions, identify business units, and work with the Total Rewards team to negotiate relocation and immigration offers.
- Assist with hiring manager and supervisor new employee training schedules, ensuring up-to-date templates.
- Maintain the internal TA site on Sharepoint, ensuring accurate and timely information.
- Support the offboarding process, scheduling exit interviews, capturing retention analytics, and ensuring a smooth transition.
- 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, or a related field.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, BBA, or a related field.
- Preferred: SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification.
- Preferred: Work experience in agricultural or manufacturing industries.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Learning Management Systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborative and team-oriented.
- Technical Proficiency: Suite of MS-Office Applications, Global HRIS Systems.
