Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician I

Achieve Human Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Technician I to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Technician I, you will play a vital role in providing case management services to our clients, focusing on independence through community living, employment, and integration services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in achieving their goals and objectives through advocacy and participation in long-term planning and organizational development activities.
  • Ensure active participation in client ART meetings and monthly client staffing meetings with primary providers.
  • Assist clients with navigating resources and referrals to agencies in the community that align with their goals and objectives.
  • Attend and participate in scheduled clinical supervision meetings and complete all agency mandatory trainings.
  • Complete annual recertifications for clients receiving supportive services and ADOH contract recipients.
Work Environment:

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of responsibility for administering company policies and procedures. The Behavioral Health Technician I will be exposed to highly confidential client information, including behavioral health and physical health diagnosis and disability information, demographic information, and client financial status.

The employee must exercise ethical standards in handling confidential information and have sound judgment regarding behavioral health situations. The work environment includes client home visits, clinical, and office settings for the provision of services and may include outside settings for outgoing and assisting customers with living skills.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Requires six (6) months to two (2) years of case management experience.
  • Must be over 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Must be able to obtain valid certifications for Agency compliance within 90-days of employment.
  • Pass background check inclusive of Excluded Provider List System (EPLS) and the Health and Human Services (HHS) List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
