At Axelon, we are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and packing various products, operating equipment, and maintaining necessary records.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and pack products in accordance with customer orders
- Operate equipment and maintain necessary records
- Check completed parts to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Maintain equipment and perform housekeeping duties
- Adhere to environmental, health, and safety rules and regulations
- Support team in achieving plant and department goals
- High school diploma or GED-equivalent
- At least 3 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures, blueprints, and work orders
- Ability to recognize mechanical, electrical, and safety procedures of a manufacturing facility
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to use a crane once fully trained to lift items
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to use measuring equipment, hand and power tools, or saw
