We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our Oncology Infusion Center team at UMass Memorial Health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient preparation and distribution of medications to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Process and release orders using pharmacy dispense queue
- Prepare and package all forms of medications
- Assemble drugs in an accurate and efficient manner
- Maintain inventory, reorders, restocks, and monitors expiration dates of all medications
- Assist in the transportation and handling of chemotherapy and controlled substances
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current license with the Massachusetts Board of Pharmacy
- Certified by one of the national governing bodies such as Pharmacy Technician Certification Board PTCB, or the National Healthcareer Association ExCPT
- 3 years of previous experience
- Position requires proficiency in math and the knowledge and ability to use a computer
