Position Overview:

The Installation and Service Team Supervisor at DEFENDERS will oversee the support of new acquisition clients by coordinating personnel and resources essential for the efficient and thorough installation and servicing of all projects within a designated area.

This role involves planning, executing, and managing the operations of the Installation and Service workforce for a specific district. The Supervisor acts as a key intermediary between the district service team and corporate service management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plans, executes, and oversees the operations of the service workforce, ensuring they are well-trained in product installation and service techniques.
  • Develops a comprehensive business strategy to deliver cost-effective services aimed at achieving targeted sales growth and market share objectives.
  • Collaborates with upper management to achieve profitability targets.
  • Conducts regular meetings to discuss performance and strategies.
  • Communicates updates on installation and service policies, procedures, techniques, equipment demonstrations, new offerings, sales initiatives, and regional marketing efforts.
  • Supports the sales team by identifying cost-effective installation solutions and recommending appropriate system applications.
  • Acts as the primary liaison for the district installation and service team, providing valuable feedback to corporate management.
  • Ensures uniformity in field installation and service operations.
  • Maintains a high standard of quality and timely service to enhance customer retention.
  • Builds and sustains an effective installation/service team through recruitment, training, motivation, and coaching.
  • Monitors and documents daily, monthly, and quarterly installation/service activities, including individual performance metrics.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education: Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Experience:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry, particularly in high-volume operations. Experience in assessing the economic impact of services on clients' businesses and developing value propositions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, effectively lead a team, and navigate challenges.
Skills:
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Ability to think strategically and act with a conceptual mindset.
  • Proven leadership skills with a focus on training, development, and team motivation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications.
