The ideal candidate will possess a collaborative spirit and have prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate all power-operated equipment requiring certification.
  • Accurately select and package items for shipment, potentially using a forklift.
  • Complete necessary documentation and track project time effectively.
  • Ensure that all items not needed in the short term are restocked following established protocols.
  • Assist in coordinating with freight carriers for scheduling pickups and deliveries.
  • Label and prepare items for shipping, and load/unload trucks as required.
  • Update the Warehouse Management System with relevant transactions.
  • Conduct daily safety checks and adhere to standard battery charging procedures.
  • Support team members in achieving and surpassing customer satisfaction goals.
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to the supervisor and team lead.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, or three years of relevant warehouse experience.
  • Prior experience in warehouse or manufacturing is essential.
  • Current forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days.
  • Proficient in reading and comprehending written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds independently and heavier weights in a team-lift situation.
  • Ability to lift, carry, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to climb ladders as necessary.
