Position Overview:

We are seeking a Materials Technician to join our team. This role is essential for managing the shipment and receipt of parts, materials, and equipment, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.

Shift Details:

2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, Tuesday – Saturday (Sunday & Monday Off)

Training Schedule:

Initial training will occur from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday for the first three weeks.

Location: Dallas, TX

Compensation: $25/hour

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with automotive or aviation components
  • Experience in picking, packing, and sorting
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Capability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Reliable transportation
  • Willingness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, stocking, shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
  • Experience in the aviation sector
  • Familiarity with parts and materials management
  • Knowledge of inventory processes and cycle counts

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the shipping and receiving of materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming packages for damage and verify that all items meet federal and company guidelines.
  • Perform self-audits and assist in organizing and relocating storage solutions.
  • Engage in packaging, processing, and scanning of materials accurately.

Additional Information:

All employees must complete training to qualify for handling and shipping hazardous materials, including lithium batteries and solvents. This training is provided at no cost.

Comprehensive training will be included for all new hires.
