Job Title: Senior Structural Engineer - Bridge Design

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer - Bridge Design to join our dynamic team at KLJ. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and managing bridge projects from conception to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage bridge design projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Develop project plans and reports, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the team.
  • Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion.
  • Conduct regular project meetings, provide updates, and communicate with project team members to ensure alignment and accountability.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering and project management.
  • PMP, PgMP, PfMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification.
  • Master's degree with a focus on structural engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of codes, regulations, and industry standards related to structural engineering.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in pursuit and management of structural engineering projects.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
