POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be integral to the operational success of our production facility. Your primary responsibilities will include the upkeep and repair of diverse machinery and equipment, ensuring that all systems function efficiently to enhance productivity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Equipment Upkeep: Conduct regular maintenance on production machinery following established protocols to ensure peak performance and durability. This involves inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and replacing components as required.
  2. Diagnostics and Repair: Swiftly identify and resolve equipment malfunctions using various diagnostic tools and methods. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to determine underlying issues and execute prompt repairs.
  3. Preventive Strategies: Formulate and execute preventive maintenance strategies to reduce unexpected downtimes and equipment failures. Carry out inspections and tests to detect potential problems before they arise.
  4. Calibration and Compliance: Adjust and calibrate machinery to uphold accuracy and consistency, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  5. Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and inventory management. Generate reports to monitor equipment performance and maintenance timelines.
  6. Safety Standards: Follow safety guidelines rigorously while performing maintenance tasks to avert accidents and hazardous situations. Proactively identify and mitigate safety risks within the production environment.
  7. Team Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to support operational needs and resolve equipment-related challenges. Communicate effectively with colleagues to share insights and coordinate maintenance efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is highly desirable.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong mechanical skills and a proven ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, tools, and software.
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
  • Dedication to safety, quality, and ongoing improvement.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Capability to lift and maneuver heavy machinery and components.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Salary range: $65,000 - $85,000

Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision, voluntary life insurance), a 401(K) retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off.
