As a Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Specialist, you will be integral to the operational success of our production facility. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Equipment Upkeep: Conduct regular maintenance on production machinery following established protocols to ensure peak performance and durability. This involves inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and replacing components as required.
- Diagnostics and Repair: Swiftly identify and resolve equipment malfunctions using various diagnostic tools and methods. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to determine underlying issues and execute prompt repairs.
- Preventive Strategies: Formulate and execute preventive maintenance strategies to reduce unexpected downtimes and equipment failures. Carry out inspections and tests to detect potential problems before they arise.
- Calibration and Compliance: Adjust and calibrate machinery to uphold accuracy and consistency, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, repair logs, and inventory management. Generate reports to monitor equipment performance and maintenance timelines.
- Safety Standards: Follow safety guidelines rigorously while performing maintenance tasks to avert accidents and hazardous situations. Proactively identify and mitigate safety risks within the production environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to support operational needs and resolve equipment-related challenges. Communicate effectively with colleagues to share insights and coordinate maintenance efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is highly desirable.
- 2-3 years of experience in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical skills and a proven ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, tools, and software.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
- Dedication to safety, quality, and ongoing improvement.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Capability to lift and maneuver heavy machinery and components.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and under varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Salary range: $65,000 - $85,000
Benefits include health insurance (medical, dental, vision, voluntary life insurance), a 401(K) retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off.
