About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Equipment Technology professional to join our team at Northwest Texas Healthcare System. As a Medical Equipment Technology professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of medical equipment in our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address equipment-related issues.
  • Develop and implement procedures for the safe use and maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Provide training and education to healthcare staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
  • Conduct quality control checks on medical equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in medical equipment technology or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of medical equipment and its applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
