Area Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at Laundrylux. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and managing new and existing accounts for our professional vended laundry equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, with a strong background in commercial laundry space machinery or equipment sales. You will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, engaging in proactive outreach and market blitzes, and promoting our products and services to new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage new and existing accounts for our professional vended laundry equipment
- Generate and qualify leads via door-to-door sales visits with customers
- Engage in proactive outreach and market blitzes
- Promote products and services to new and existing customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis for new and existing customers
- Closing sales by means of excellent customer service and salesmanship
- Develop strategies for effective sales closing and track sales pipeline
- Prioritize and/or escalate client questions and concerns to increase client satisfaction
- Source and develop client referrals
- Track personal appointments, status reports, and sales, providing biweekly updates via our CRM
- Meet or exceed monthly/yearly sales goals
- Participation as needed in industry trade shows and events
Requirements:
- 3 years of sales experience
- Previous experience in commercial laundry space machinery or equipment sales desired
- Success in a previous sales position prospecting or cold calling; direct sales experience is preferred but not required
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
- Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of CRM systems
- Valid driver's license, car insurance, satisfactory driving record, and the use of a reliable personal vehicle
- Ability to travel as needed
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 depending on experience. OTE $100,000
