Per Diem Speech Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Speech Therapist to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. As a Per Diem Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patient communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities, and providing written documentation on treatment and discharge plans.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patient communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
- Provide written documentation on treatment and discharge plans
- Educate staff and patient/family members on patient needs and modify treatment approaches as needed
- Maintain a high level of professional expertise and assume responsibility for professional growth and development
- Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms
- Background Check and Live Scan
- Legal Right to Work in the United States
- Vaccination Policies
- Smoking and Tobacco Policy
- Drug Free Environment
