Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist I to join our team at BronxCare Health System. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the use of special pharmacy equipment and maintain accurate records of medication orders and prescriptions.
  • Perform and direct prepacking activities, dispensing of supplies to other departments, and inspect medicinal supplies on station or in other departments.
  • Request assistance from housekeeping, maintenance, or other support departments as needed.
  • Supply information to other professional or paraprofessional personnel on request and participate in in-service training programs.
  • Assist the Pharmacy Supervisor and Associate Directors in personnel-related functions.
Qualifications
  • PharmD degree with one year of recognized internship acceptable.
  • Current New York State Pharmacist License.
  • Bilingual preferred: English/Spanish.
