Job Title: Pharmacist In Charge

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced pharmacist to fill the role of Pharmacist In Charge at North Bronx Rx. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy, providing exceptional patient care, and upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Medication Dispensing:
Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients, ensuring timely and efficient service.

Patient Counseling:
Provide thorough guidance on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions, promoting patient understanding and adherence.

Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations, maintaining a safe and compliant environment for patients and staff.

Staff Training:
Train and mentor pharmacy staff to uphold best practices, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Collaborative Care:
Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient care, fostering a collaborative and patient-centered approach.

Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.

Insurance Processing:
Efficiently handle insurance claims and reimbursements, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Customer Service:
Professionally address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring patient satisfaction.

Requirements:

Required:
Valid pharmacist license as per state regulations.

Required:
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.

Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM).

Experience in inventory management and implementing cost-saving measures.

Proven success in managing a pharmacy team effectively.
