Credit Evaluation Specialist

Job Overview:
As a Credit Evaluation Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the credit limit database while analyzing client data to facilitate informed credit decisions. This role encompasses the assessment of financial documents, evaluation of credit applications, and formulation of recommendations based on thorough analysis. Additionally, you will ensure the accuracy of credit records and remain informed about lending regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis & Credit Evaluation: Execute detailed assessments of financial documents and credit applications, including new, modified, or refinancing requests, while conducting annual reviews.
- Risk Assessment & Recommendations: Evaluate credit risk and provide insightful recommendations based on your analysis. Present findings and suggestions to management, emphasizing the borrower's ability to repay.
- Lending Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's lending policies and ensure adherence to these guidelines.
- File Management: Reconcile credit files, identifying and addressing discrepancies and variances.
- Data Management & Modeling: Create and maintain spreadsheets and models to assist in the evaluation of both new and existing credit applications.
Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in quantitative analysis or a similar discipline.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Office and general computer applications.
- Analytical Abilities: Exceptional capability to analyze financial statements, ratios, and concepts, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Time Management Skills: Proven track record of managing multiple deadlines and performing effectively in a fast-paced environment with varying levels of supervision.
