Millwright - Maintenance Specialist

Lexicon, Inc. is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex machinery and equipment. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations and optimal functionality.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
* Repair and lubricate machines and equipment.
* Assemble and install equipment using hand tools and power tools.
* Install machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings.
* Position steel beams to support bedplates of machines and equipment.
* Dismantle machines and other equipment.
* Construct foundation for machines using hand tools and building materials.
* Move machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.

**Requirements:**

* A minimum of 3 years' experience as a millwright is required.
* Must have all the required hand tools.
* Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, layout plans, or other drawings is required.
* Proficient with precision instruments to set and align equipment is required.
* Certificate of welding ability is preferred.

**Physical Demands:**

* Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently on the job and able to climb in excess of 300 feet.
* Excessive amounts of bending, stooping, carrying, pushing and pulling of weights up to 100 pounds.
* Must be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations, a loud and dusty work environment, and able to be around high voltage electromagnetic fields.
