Position Summary

We are in search of a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) specializing in Internal Medicine, who possesses extensive experience in patient care and a solid understanding of the specific needs of this patient demographic.

The LPN will be responsible for delivering both direct and indirect nursing care to patients and their families in standard nursing scenarios, under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed healthcare provider.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and registered nurses in ensuring patient comfort, care, and treatment.
- Support diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor and document patients' conditions and progress.
- In complex situations where patients are unstable or require urgent care, the LPN will operate under the direct supervision of the RN or licensed provider.
- Conduct daily inventory of medical supplies and equipment; maintain examination and treatment rooms in accordance with infection control policies and clinic protocols, ensuring adequate supplies and equipment are available.
- Record and document patient vital signs, including temperature, respiration, pulse, and blood pressure; gather patient measurements such as height, weight, and pain levels in the electronic medical record.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program.

Licensure/Certification:
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Georgia. Current BLS certification is required.
