We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Mercy Care Atlanta. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in coordinating access to healthcare, providing patient care, and supporting preventive services for our diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate Access to Healthcare: Work under the supervision of a Mercy Care Medical doctor and/or Nurse Practitioner to ensure seamless access to healthcare services for our patients.
- Provide Patient Care: Perform basic patient assessment procedures, including vital signs, infection disease control, and universal precautions, to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Maintain Medical Supplies: Order and maintain medical supplies and materials under the guidance of Nurse Practitioners and/or Clinic Manager to ensure a well-stocked and efficient clinical environment.
- Conduct EKGs: Perform EKGs under the guidance of a licensed Medical Provider to support patient care and diagnosis.
- Participate in Community Events: Participate in health fairs and community events on weekends as requested to promote health and wellness in our community.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- License: Current Georgia State license.
- Experience: One-year experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Certifications: Passing score on entry medication exam and current CPR or BCLS certification.
