Ultrasound Technologist Level II Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist Level II to join our team in Santa Clara, California.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce high-quality ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for diagnostic purposes.
  • Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
  • Prepare and position patients for examinations.
  • Select and adjust equipment according to examination specifications.
  • Record diagnostic data and maintain accurate records.
  • Orient new hires and perform other related duties as necessary.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 2 years of experience in diagnostic medical sonography or related field.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate or equivalent.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
