About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Lowe's. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering complex software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate business requirements into logical program designs and deliver high-quality code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions.
  • Develop, configure, or modify complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments.
  • Partner with the Product Team to understand business needs and functional specifications.
  • Independently write high-quality, maintainable, and robust code by building adequate test suits and observability frameworks.
  • Guide application and software development teams in the design and build of complex solutions and ensure alignment with architecture blueprints, standards, and strategies.
  • Participate and mentor other engineers in software development technologies and processes.
  • Evaluate new software, tools, and technologies to provide objective analysis and recommendations to the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field).
  • 5 years of experience in software development or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in database technologies.
  • 4 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC).
