You must possess strong analytical skills, be well-organized, and excel in communication and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will adapt swiftly to change and advocate for the enhancement of processes that will improve financial modeling and the overall FP&A function.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a support analyst for the GTM FP&A team; serve as a financial business partner to the GTM division to assist in managing, planning, and forecasting investments, as well as analyzing key financial performance drivers. Collaborate with leaders across sales, partnerships, marketing, and finance to support the GTM division.
  • Facilitate the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts in collaboration with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for executive management.
  • Enhance KPI reporting and tracking processes.
  • Assist in the tracking, reporting, and analysis of publicly reported metrics.
  • Develop business cases and analyses to guide and support business and financial decisions.
Expectations:
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to quickly understand and apply analytical concepts.
  • Experience in investment banking, consulting, FP&A, or within a fast-paced Fortune 500 company is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to operate within fixed timelines and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Proactive communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy and precision; detail-oriented, organized, and resourceful.
  • Exemplary work ethic, team-oriented mindset, positive attitude, self-motivated, and exceptional business partnering skills.
  • Genuine passion for technology and a desire to make meaningful contributions to a team with ambitious goals.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
Why Join DigitalOcean?:
  • We reward our employees. The base salary range for this position is between $75,000-$90,000, depending on relevant experience and skills. This salary range applies to candidates located within the U.S. and may vary for candidates outside the U.S. Employees may also qualify for a bonus based on individual and company performance, along with equity compensation for eligible employees, including equity grants upon hire and participation in our Employee Stock Purchase Program.
  • We value development. You will collaborate with some of the most intelligent and engaging individuals in the industry. We are a high-performance organization that continuously challenges our teams and employees to grow. We maintain a growth mindset in all our endeavors and invest significantly in employee development through structured mentorship and other internal initiatives. We provide reimbursement for relevant conferences, training, and education for all employees.
  • We care about your well-being. In addition to competitive cash and equity compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package. In the U.S., this includes health insurance, flexible vacation policies, retirement benefits, a generous parental leave program, and additional resources to support overall employee well-being. While our benefits philosophy is consistent globally, specific offerings may vary in other countries due to local regulations and preferences.
