Patient Experience Coordinator

Responsibilities:
* Provide proficient, competent care to patients while maintaining their sense of comfort and dignity
* Assist with de-escalating patient complaints in person and over the phone
* Help with medication management, including calling in medication as needed
* Maintain accurate medical records, including scanning charts and locating charts as needed
* Communicate effectively with co-workers, patients, and families
* Train staff on Hospitality bedside manner and patient care expectations
* Identify patient needs through conversations and proactively address them
* Advocate for patients by communicating with the charge nurse about their needs
* Ensure the highest level of comfort for patients by providing resources such as pillows, blankets, drinks, and snacks
* Assist with the registration process to minimize wait times
* Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby
Requirements:
* Maintain flexibility and availability for on-call and coverage requirements
* Ability to work unsupervised and take initiative
* Positive attitude towards patients, guests, and visitors
* Customer service experience in a high-volume, high-stress environment
* Critical thinking skills to work autonomously and make efficient use of time and resources
* High School Diploma or GED
* Ability to read, speak, and write in the English Language
* Previous medical experience, emergency room preferred
