STEAMspark is in search of a dedicated Montessori Classroom Support Specialist to assist in nurturing and guiding children aged 3 to 6 years. This role is vital in supporting the lead educator, creating a warm and stimulating atmosphere, and encouraging the holistic growth of children within a Montessori educational framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance the learning experience in the classroom.
- Participate in school-sponsored AMS Montessori training.
- Foster a harmonious multi-age classroom that supports the physical, social, and emotional growth of children.
- Implement Montessori principles and curriculum in collaboration with the lead educator.
- Adapt lesson delivery to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Introduce educational resources, including technology, as directed by the lead educator.
- Assist in maintaining an engaging, welcoming, and respectful classroom environment.
- Adhere to classroom management protocols and standards for expected behavior.
- Maintain open lines of communication with the lead educator.
- Ensure a clean and organized classroom space.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required.
- Preference for candidates pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit on the floor to assist with lessons.
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 25 pounds.

Compensation
Hourly wage between $14.40 and $17.60
