Position Overview: We are in search of a highly driven and detail-oriented Technical Lead / Project Manager to support our federal client. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing and administering complex knowledge management platforms. In this role, you will oversee the comprehensive systems development and website operations for our client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of development resources, including planning, scheduling, training, and mentoring personnel, ensuring proper resource allocation and status reporting to federal clients.
  • Direct project management activities in accordance with the defined Project Management Plan (PMP), which includes staffing, progress reports, documentation, and deliverables.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all development and sustainment activities for a cloud-based server, ensuring compliance with security regulations.
  • Oversee a 24/7 proactive monitoring and technical support team for all outages affecting cloud service availability.
  • Ensure timely project completion in alignment with quality standards, facilitating effective communication across the project team regarding status, variances, and technical information.
  • Develop and specify standards, methods, or procedures to assess product quality or release readiness.
  • Manage administrative policies and procedures for the client.
  • Guide the process of securing and maintaining the license and authority for the client’s website.
  • Ensure the effective operation of all website functions, including content migration, management, design, and maintenance.
  • Oversee the enhancement and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS) to facilitate diverse training delivery modes.
  • Investigate issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and IT personnel, ensuring collaboration on projects that require client IT involvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical project management, particularly in cloud-based web hosting projects.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • Leadership experience in developing public-facing knowledge management platforms utilizing e-learning technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with web hosting platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience in assessing business needs, researching solutions, and providing technical recommendations.
