About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer I to join our team at Intellia Therapeutics, Inc. in Cambridge, MA. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading product development engagements with stakeholders for experimental design services in genomic sequencing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicating effectively with management, scientists, and the software team and translating NGS concepts into relational data models.
  • Building and deploying containerized cloud-based data services using Python, GitHub, AWS, and other tools and technologies.
  • Upholding an agile approach to the software development life cycle (SDLC) and producing well-documented and tested code.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in computer science, Data Science, Analytics or a directly related field.
  • Two (2) years of experience in software engineering or a related occupation.
  • Experience developing, testing, and deploying cloud-based applications using Python, AWS, containers, or relational databases.
  • Data science and machine learning experience building analytical models and productionizing solutions using Python, R and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and OpenCV.
  • Big data platforms like Apache Iceberg and Spark for large-scale data processing.
  • Projects in data science disciplines including deep learning, computer vision, and NLP.
  • Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
  • SQL and experience with relational databases and data lakes.

Cambridge, MA

Work Schedule:

40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm
