About the Position

This Patient Care Coordinator - OR role requires a Surgical Technologist with experience in scrubbing 3 specialty areas, including transplants, open heart, urology, neurology, titanium rib, and robotics. The ideal candidate will establish and maintain a sterile field, pass instruments, and suture to the physician as directed. They will also cooperate in team planning and execution, demonstrate clinical expertise in surgical supplies and equipment, and maintain proper traffic control and adherence to OR sanitation policies.

  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure effective communication and execution of procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of facility policy and procedure regarding decontamination, processing, and sterilization of instruments and supplies.
  • Requires High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of Surgical Technology program, and 2 or more years of experience.
Requirements

BLS required; Certification of Surgical Technologist from The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting within 180 days of graduation or LVN/LPN License required. Work Schedule: Varies. Work Type: Full Time.
