Role Summary:
- We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Specialist to maintain and secure our IT infrastructure.
- Enhance and support technical systems while contributing to IT process improvements.
- Exhibit strong initiative and effective time management abilities.
- Efficiently manage ticket queues and provide on-site assistance.
- Administer and maintain Windows Server 2016 and newer versions.
- Support and manage desktop operating systems and applications.
- Oversee email administration, including user management and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and address monitoring system alerts for networks and systems.
- Conduct basic virtualization administration and manage virtual machines.
- Manage domain functionality, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Resolve hardware/software issues related to Windows and mobile operating systems, Remote Desktop Services, VPN, and Office 365 using both GUI and PowerShell.
- Familiarity with patch management, vulnerability management, Microsoft AutoPilot, and backup solutions.
- Proficient in troubleshooting common remote solutions and audiovisual equipment.
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (minimum 4 years in IT).
- Must be a U.S. Person.
- At least 1 year of experience in IT support (helpdesk/service desk/MSP).
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Capacity to sit or stand for extended periods while working on computers.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as Security+ (CompTIA Security+) and MS-900 / AZ-900.
- Experience in a dynamic environment (e.g., MSP).
- Strong skills in domain functionality, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and troubleshooting.
- Proficient with Remote Desktop Services, VPN, Office 365, patch management, Microsoft AutoPilot, and backup solutions.
- Basic understanding of core network components and audiovisual equipment.
