POSITION SUMMARY


This role is an entry-level opportunity focused on executing repetitive assembly tasks to facilitate the mass production of various structural components such as trusses, panels, windows, and doors. The individual will be responsible for the following key functions:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Aligns components in accordance with specified configurations.
  • Secures parts using bolts, clips, screws, adhesives, or other fastening methods.
  • Measures and cuts materials to precise specifications as required.
  • Identifies and removes defective items from the production line.
  • Operates machinery to perform fastening or fitting tasks on the assembly line.
  • Adapts to different workstations based on production demands.
  • Maintains cleanliness of equipment, work areas, and floors in compliance with safety protocols.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
SUPERVISORY ROLE

This position does not entail any supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty effectively. The following qualifications are preferred:

  • No specific educational background or prior experience is required.
  • Experience in carpentry is advantageous.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Capable of reading and understanding simple instructions and writing basic correspondence.
  • Proficient in basic arithmetic operations and able to read a tape measure.
  • Able to apply common sense to follow detailed written or verbal instructions.
  • Competent in addressing problems with a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Willingness to work overtime as necessary.

While executing the responsibilities of this role, the employee is consistently required to stand, use hands for handling or feeling, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally.

The employee is continuously required to walk and may occasionally need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Specific vision capabilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and may encounter airborne particles.

The employee may frequently be exposed to outdoor weather conditions, extreme temperatures, electrical hazards, and vibrations.

The noise level in the work environment is typically loud, and the use of hearing protection, as well as eye protection, is mandatory.
