Position Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and driven Accounts Receivable and Collections Specialist to join our Accounting team, focusing on our Media division. This role is crucial in overseeing the collections and credit verification processes within our department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain effective communication with our Media clients and partners.
- Manage incoming billing inquiries from clients, ensuring proper routing and resolution.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all collection activities while striving to minimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Achieve monthly and quarterly collection targets.
- Collaborate with the Billing team to research and validate requested adjustments.
- Assist the Cash Application team with on-account, unapplied, and unidentified payments.
- Resolve outstanding payment discrepancies.
- Analyze client accounts for collectability concerns and assess bad debt provisions.
- Update and maintain client information in ERP and CRM systems as necessary.
- Prepare and oversee various accounts receivable reports.
- Ensure accuracy in the accounts receivable aging report.
- Work closely with the Media group and other departments to align Credit and Collections processes with company objectives.
- Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience, particularly in accounts receivable within a dynamic environment.
- Proficient in Excel and experienced in handling large datasets.
- Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Self-motivated team player eager to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Oracle Fusion Accounting systems is advantageous.
