We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures, using your knowledge, skills, and abilities to provide high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Performing diagnostic procedures, including routine, emergent, portable, and surgical examinations, in accordance with department policies and procedures.
- Communicating effectively with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
- Assisting patients with transportation and other needs as required.
- Entering data, filing, restocking supplies, and performing quality assurance functions.
- Participating in on-call or standby schedules as required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a related field, with a focus on cardiac sonography.
- A minimum of two years of education in a related field, with a focus on cardiac sonography.
- Registration as a Cardiac Sonographer with Cardiovascular Credentialing International or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
- A Sonography Technologist License in the state of Oregon.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Previous experience with TEE, Stress Echo, and Pediatric Echosonography.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
