Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team at Soliant. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing educational support to students with mild to moderate disabilities in a middle school math inclusion setting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide instruction and support to students in a middle school math inclusion setting
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate with parents and guardians to ensure a collaborative approach to student support
Requirements:
- Masters or Doctoral Degree in Special Education or teaching students with Special Needs
- Active state license and previous resource experience, preferably with elementary students
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
