  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to assist in planning and executing early childhood education experiences that promote healthy emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development of each child.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and learning, with a strong commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for children.
  • This is a full-time position with a salary range of $50,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in young children.
  • Collaborate with the director and teachers to create a cohesive and effective educational program.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including daily reports and program participation data.
  • Assist in preparing and arranging indoor and outdoor activity areas and materials to accommodate daily schedule.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Special Education, or related field.
  • Two years of experience working with children in a group program, with a focus on early childhood education.
  • Ability to lift and carry 45+ pounds, walk, bend, and stoop, and stand on a routine basis.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact professionally with staff, parents, and community members.
