Job Summary

As an On-call/Per-diem Classroom Assistant with Lulac Head Start Inc, you will play a vital role in supporting classroom teachers and creating a nurturing learning environment for young children. This is an on-call position, requiring flexibility and a willingness to work as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assist classroom teachers with daily activities, including supervising children during playtime and outdoor activities, preparing snacks and meals, and maintaining a clean and organized learning environment.
  • Maintain open communication with classroom teachers and program staff to ensure that children's needs are met.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with young children preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be available for on-call assignments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the role.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is between $25,000 - $35,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
