Job Title: Early Childhood Education Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Education Coordinator to join our team at New Haven Public Schools. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to play a vital role in the success of our Head Start Program.

About the Job:

  • This is a 12-month position with a competitive salary range of $62,482 - $93,125 based on experience.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of the Head Start ERSEA (Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment, Attendance) process.
  • This includes developing and implementing strategies to recruit and enroll eligible children in the program, while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • The coordinator will also be responsible for managing part-time staff members and overseeing the workflow of students' files from registration through enrollment.
