**Position Overview**

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual to join our manufacturing engineering team. This role is crucial in the production of delivery catheter systems, integral to our Cardiac Rhythm Management division.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Collaborate with frontline engineers to enhance operational knowledge and efficiency.
  • Lead projects focused on the introduction of new production equipment, process enhancements, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to engineers and technicians.
  • Conduct Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEAs) and Process Validations.
  • Utilize Lean manufacturing principles to boost product quality, labor efficiency, and throughput.
  • Oversee the design, procurement, assembly, and testing of tooling and machinery.
  • Work closely with Product Development to ensure manufacturability is prioritized in design.
  • Exhibit innovation and resourcefulness while working independently.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

**Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably within the medical device sector.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
  • Proven leadership skills in team environments.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate peers while driving change and creative problem-solving.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Experience in the medical device industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
