Resident Care Director

Oxford Senior Living is seeking a compassionate and experienced Resident Care Director to lead our healthcare team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing overall leadership and healthcare services for our residents, including developing and implementing health services plans and directing the work of Care Team Supervisors and Caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general care and treatment for residents as required within the scope of individual licensure and within the state in which the community is located
- Provide nursing assessments for current and prospective residents as required by federal/state regulations and/or organizational policy
- Function as a liaison and advocate for residents with physicians and outside nursing staff
- Administer all pre-employment and annual staff Tuberculin testing
- Provide nursing support and delegate coverage of duties when unavailable
Requirements:
- Board certified Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse
- Experience in senior living
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three (3) years of nursing experience in a leadership role within long term care
- Previous nursing experience in memory care
Physical Working Requirements:
- Ability to travel using personal vehicle, including at night
- Able to do occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Able to work flexible schedule, including evenings and/or weekends
