Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical leadership and direction to the clinical staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Executive Team to develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of healthcare providers, including physicians and advanced practice professionals.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective use of resources and compliance with financial regulations.
- Represent Ponca Health Services in external forums, promoting the organization's mission and values.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of medicine or advanced practice nursing.
- Board certification in a specialty recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties or National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculties.
- Unrestricted medical license in a state/territory of the United States.
- Three years of clinical experience, including leadership roles in medical clinics or health systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Native American communities and knowledge of Public Law 93-638: Indian Self-Determination Act.
- One year of experience in a patient-centered medical home or community health center context.
Working Environment:
- This position is located in a professional office environment with duties in a medical/clinic setting.
- Work may be stressful due to continual interaction with others.
- Occasional evening, weekend, and overnight work may be required.
- Travel may be required to office sites.
