Position Overview:
We are in search of a dedicated and experienced Permanent Construction Electrical Engineer to become a vital part of our innovative team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineering professionals to create effective electrical systems for educational buildings.
  • Ensure compliance with local and state building codes and electrical regulations.
  • Work closely with various departments to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Oversee construction projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
  • Provide expert consultation on electrical systems, focusing on energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Conduct inspections to verify the safety and functionality of electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement necessary corrective measures.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including specifications and reports.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • A valid Professional Engineering License is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Systems Design and Construction Management.
  • Strong knowledge of Electrical Code Compliance and Building Regulations.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to lead complex construction initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and technical understanding of electrical systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in engineering design software, including CAD.
  • Commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.
