Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering teams on significant design projects within utility infrastructure.
- Develop detailed proposals that adhere to top-tier industry standards.
- Oversee the design and implementation of essential power systems, both above and below ground.
- Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining budgetary constraints and exceeding client expectations.
- Uphold compliance with relevant codes and standards, ensuring all specifications meet client requirements.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to define precise material and equipment needs.
- Conduct thorough reviews to ensure the accuracy and integrity of engineering outputs.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
- An active Professional Electrical Engineer License is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in Electrical Engineering is essential.
- Proven leadership experience of at least 3 years in managing engineering design teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
- Familiarity with industry-standard design software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation, is expected.
- Strong understanding of Power Distribution principles is crucial.
- Experience in construction and knowledge of Passport and CEGIS/TED is advantageous.
