Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, particularly in metals and direct materials, with proven group management experience.
  • Demonstrated success in leading global sourcing initiatives and achieving significant cost savings.
  • Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Experience in supplier relationship management and contract negotiations.
  • Familiarity with market trends, industry standards, and regulatory frameworks concerning metals and direct materials.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).
  • Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
  • Knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices and initiatives.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
