Job Description Summary:


The Financial Analyst is responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and analytical functions, acting as a finance business partner to multiple internal departments.

The primary focus is on indirect spending, which involves a moderate level of complexity.

This role necessitates regular collaboration with internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and FP&A management throughout the budget development process, variance analysis, forecasting, and operational reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a dedicated finance business partner to internal departments, facilitating the development of budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and expense monitoring.
  • Provide actionable insights that align with the organization's objectives, enhancing departmental reporting and financial analysis with support from FP&A management.
  • Solicit capital budget requests from supported departments, assist in prioritization, and present findings to FP&A management. Track actual expenditures and update forecasts as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain regular financial reporting for senior leadership.
  • Ensure data integrity and validation during month-end close, including transactional research from financial systems and source documents.
  • Assist with various ad hoc analyses and projects as required.
  • Identify, gather, and analyze data from various sources, formulate hypotheses and conclusions, and present analytical results to FP&A management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in advanced Excel and experienced in financial analysis and modeling using financial tools (e.g., Adaptive, Tableau, PeopleSoft, Datawarehouse, etc.).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for interaction with all organizational levels.
  • Able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Exhibit a high level of accuracy, productivity, and flexibility to manage multiple projects within a deadline-driven environment.
Education:

A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

3-5 years of professional experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis is required.
