About the Role

Suncoast Post Tension, Ltd., a Keller company, is a leading provider of post-tension and rebar manufacturing solutions. With over 30 years of experience, we supply construction materials to builders from our eight facilities across the US.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the preparation of field installation drawings for post-tensioned concrete floor systems using bonded and unbonded tendons.
  • Act as a liaison with contractors and engineers on constructability issues, design changes, construction problems, and other implementation issues that arise during the construction process.
  • Prepare preliminary designs in support of sales staff.
  • Design floor slab systems for high-rise concrete buildings.
  • Post Tension experience is essential.
Requirements

Qualified candidates will have a BS degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of previous structural engineering experience. Knowledge of building construction, formwork systems, construction sequencing, ACI, and IBC requirements is necessary. A licensed PE is preferred or eligible to take the exam. Strong team-building skills, verbal and written communication skills are required.
