Geotechnical Principal

We are seeking a highly experienced Geotechnical Principal to join our team at ECS Mid-Atlantic, LLC. As a key member of our geotechnical department, you will provide technical expertise and support to our staff, clients, and projects.

• Provide technical guidance and support to geotechnical staff, clients, and projects
• Host or attend project meetings with clients and ECS staff to provide technical solutions
• Mentor Associate Principals and participate in the review committee for candidates seeking Associate Principal designation
• Oversee projects, perform technical report reviews, prepare and review proposals, and assist with department management and P&L
• Develop and maintain client relationships, assist with business development, and support marketing efforts
• Lead and coach junior staff members, and assist hiring managers with staffing decisions

• Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar
• 12 years of related experience
• Designation as a senior reviewer at a current or previous firm
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Professional Geologist (P.G.) license in each state where you work
• Valid driver's license (if driving for ECS)
