About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Inspector to join our team at Pratt & Whitney Columbus GA. As an Aircraft Inspector, you will be responsible for performing advanced inspection processes at our Columbus Engine Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect engine parts and modules to validate proper configuration.
  • Exhibit the ability to read and comprehend Engine Manual, Customer work scopes, and tolerances.
  • Provide complete and accurate documentation to support engine build.
  • Meet production/inspection goals and objectives for the facility.
  • Complete and review Technical documentation including Fits and Clearances, Engine Inspection Report (EIR), and SAP.
  • Complete and review engine package documentation.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years' experience inspecting aircraft parts.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A&P License or two years relevant experience.
  • Turbine engine overhaul, inspection, and repair experience, precision measuring tool usage, preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
