About the Role

Cortica is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow to join its growing team. As a Clinical Fellow, you will have the opportunity to work closely with an experienced ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist to develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish speech and language treatment goals through comprehensive assessments and standardized tools.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to create individualized treatment plans and integrative strategies.
  • Provide individual therapy sessions, group therapy, and co-treatment sessions with other disciplines as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Develop and implement play-based and goal-based interventions to enhance receptive and expressive language skills.
  • Facilitate functional and stimulating experiences to target individualized goals.
  • Collaborate with patients and families to understand their values, interests, and goals.
  • Implement programming that considers the individual's sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social needs.
  • Contribute to program development and education of patients, families, and team members.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Speech-Language Pathology Required Professional Experience (RPE) temporary license in the state of California.
  • Excellent clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and openness to learning and growth.
  • Appreciation for a wide range of therapeutic approaches.
  • Passion for working with children and families.
  • Proficiency in software and systems, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to safeguard patient information.

The base pay range for this opening is $87,377 to $88,470, with compensation adjusted based on skill level, experience, education, and location.
