Clinical Fellow Opportunity in Pediatric Speech Language Pathology

Cortica is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow to join its growing team. As a Clinical Fellow, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to children with neurodevelopmental differences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement individualized treatment plans for children with speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment strategies.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Develop and implement play-based and goal-based interventions to promote receptive and expressive language skills.
  • Facilitate functional and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualized goals.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and caregivers to understand their values, interests, and goals.
  • Contribute to program development and implementation.
  • Educate patients, families, and team members on home programs that complement treatment.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Speech-Language Pathology Required Professional Experience (RPE) temporary license in the state of California.
  • Excellent clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and openness to learning and growth.
  • Passion for working with children and families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
