Momentum PTN is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist - Clinical Fellow (CF) to join our team in the Torrance and Long Beach clinics.

As a Speech Language Pathologist - Clinical Fellow (CF), you will provide high-quality, compassionate, and professional services to children and their families.

Our Speech Language Pathologist - CF have the unique opportunity to build a rewarding career in healthcare and to develop caring relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify different communication styles to develop effective communication with staff, parents, teachers, and community partners.
  • Provide treatment appropriate to the needs of child and their families.
  • Track upcoming reports due based on the funder.
  • Act as a liaison between the funder (school team, family, etc.) and the leadership team to proactively identify areas of concerns and maintain strong relationships with the community.
  • Maintain clinic documentation in a timely fashion, including daily notes in Raintree, and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with other service providers, including, when appropriate, other therapists and classroom teachers.

Requirements:

  • Master of Arts or Science degree from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) approved school of Speech Therapy; required.
  • Eligible for Speech Language Pathologist - RPE license; required.
  • Previous clinical experience; preferred.

Our multi-disciplinary clinic is designed to provide our speech pathologists with the opportunity to experience collaboration on a whole new level.

Our therapists have the opportunity to work in a variety of programs including early intervention programs, AAC development, Early Head Start, Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), Bilingual teams, Social Skills groups, Summer Programs and Parent Training.

We also have opportunities for career growth including supervisory roles and program leads for those therapists looking to take on more.

Our clinic has multiple treatment gyms, treatment spaces and a warehouse full of toys ready to use.
