About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Lead to join our team at Michael Foods, Inc. in Norwalk, Iowa. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading, directing, and executing all maintenance work, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime
  • Collaborate with operations teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
Requirements
  • AA in Engineering, Operations, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial operations, plant operations, maintenance, utilities, or related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and decipher mechanical drawings, schematics, and piping diagrams
  • Experience in electrical troubleshooting and repair
  • Knowledge of personal/process control computers, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and Networking devices
